Solar Energy
Category: Energy, GovernmentFor a vast majority of US, solar energy can easily be harnessed for residential and commercial buildings. However, even with government rebates, the cost of installing solar panels for residential use is still very high. And the rebate programs are due to expire soon unless the Congress extends them.
I think our Government especially California can lead the way by solarizing say 10%, 15% or 20% of their own buildings. Similarly, commercial building owners can be given incentives for solarizing a certain percentage of their electric consumption.
If our Government starts an initiative and sets a target of solarizing a certain percentage of buildings every year, it will pump enough money into the solar panel industry to boost production and thereby reduce the overall cost to the consumer.
It is a lot of energy that we receive free and we let it go waste!
Solar Energy is New power. Any person use Solar Energy then India government is given rebates.
